Wonton was pulled from an over-crowded rural shelter that was about to have to make some tough decisions. He and Zeppelin were both pulled from the same shelter at the same time and have been buddies at the rescue. Wonton is approximately 1 year old, neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and current on prevention.

This big brown tabby doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. But, despite his size he is a shy guy that needs a bit of confidence and trust building when it comes to people.  He enjoys being pet when he is being fed and has a purr as big as his heart. This big sweetheart enjoys the company of other cats his age and would do best in a household with another cat that is brave and can show him the ropes. 

Wontons dislikes are loud, young children and dogs that chase him or won’t leave him alone. The dogs at the rescue mind their p’s and q’s around the cats and Wonton is ok with them, so a home with an older quiet respectful dog would be fine with Wonton.   This kiddo needs a home that has had cat experience, is able to give Wonton a small acclimation room for as long as it takes for him to become comfortable with his home and his new family. Shy cat lovers are a plus. Wonton is not feral he has just had a hard start in life and has never learned to trust people. He is looking for a family that will help him build his confidence!
